We are pleased to announce the launch of the "Youth Connect" project, where its first activities were launched last Saturday, 14/12/2024, in the city of Jalu, organized by Amazonat Libya and in partnership with the British Council.
The event was held at the Jalu Cultural Center, as an open cultural day by which project and its goals were introduced.
This event is the launch of the Youth Connect Project in city of Alwahat, which focused on developing Youths ability to communicate and discover themselves, and gives them the opportunity to choose the issues that concern them and work on them together in teams by embarking on an educational journey that extends for the next four months. Participants will receive the necessary support to implement their projects and develop applicable solutions, in addition to providing an incubator environment that brings together local stakeholders from various sectors to empower youth and drive positive change in their communities. To identify the priorities that concern them and work on developing realistic and tangible solutions.
We are excited about the upcoming stages that will witness more activities that will bring youth together to create a fruitful environment for joint work and innovation and open up new horizons for development and growth.

On November 3, 2024, Amazonat Libya hosted the closing conference for its training program, aimed at enhancing the skills of teachers, educators, and social workers working with children in grades 1 through 6. In collaboration with CESVI and funded by the European Union, this initiative provided essential training to 60 participants across three rounds of workshops held in September and October 2024.
The workshops focused on strengthening participants' abilities to support the mental, emotional, and social well-being of primary school students, particularly in remote areas and among vulnerable groups. At the conclusion of the program, Amazonat Libya established a committee to compile recommendations based on the training sessions and present them to the Ministry of Education and relevant authorities to improve the Libyan education system.
This initiative reinforces Amazonat Libya's commitment to empowering educators and improving the quality of education in Libya.
Our Motto: A conscious woman, a free homeland.
